Gifu Castle
Gifu Castle was once said to be Inaba Castle, and in the Warring States Period, it was also a residence of Saito Dosan.
In particular, the name of Gifu Castle was shown to the people in 1567, when hero Oda Nobunaga captured this castle and flattered this area, the name of the place was renamed "Gifu", and it became the home of Unification Japan.
Gifu Castle is at the highest height (altitude 329 meters), and the clear stream Nagara river famous for cormorants under the eyes flows through the city.
